Like everyone in the UK we have been shocked and deeply saddened by events in Ukraine.
As a veterinary surgery we would particularly like to help pets and animals affected by war.
Animal rescue centres in Ukraine and their border countries have been inundated with animals, as their owners evacuate or take shelter, and we would like to bring a small amount of comfort to those fleeing their homes for them to know that those caring for their pets are able to do so properly.
Charities need funds for pet food, medical supplies and fuel to transport goods to where they are needed.
War Paws have been working with trusted Ukrainian rescue partners and with Dogbus, Purrfect Pet Transport, and Breaking the Chains to provide much needed food and supplies to Ukraine and distributing to rescues around the country.

Each of our team will be counting our steps to walk our way around the Ukraine border to raise money for war affected animals. We are also selling bags of ‘Treats for Ukraine’ in practice with all proceeds donated to War Paws.
