We are very proud to be an RCVS accredited small animal practice. RCVS practice accreditation is a voluntary scheme designed to promote and maintain the highest standard of veterinary care. In order to become accredited, practices are visited to be assessed every four years and periodically spot checked. Practices are assessed on a vast range of standards, including patient care, practice facilities, adherence to health and safety, environmental sustainability and client communication. We are very proud of our team for their commitment to maintaining the high standards required to be accredited.
What is the RCVS?
The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons is our governing body; they set, uphold and advance the educational, ethical and clinical standards of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses. The RCVS sets professional standards for all veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses and holds a register of all those who are qualified to practice. Any practicing veterinary surgeon or nurse must follow the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct which outlines their responsibilities to animal health and welfare as well as to the public and their clients.
