The 2025 pet Christmas gift guide

15/12/2025 By Heathfield Vets

It’s Christmas and you know what that means… presents! We have put together a list of amazing gift ideas for your furry friends, from the budget friendly to the ridiculously bougie! Whether you’ve got a sassy Siamese, a lazy Labrador or a princess pug, we’ve got a gift idea for you!  We receive no incentive for our recommendations, we just enjoy seeing what amazing items are available for our pets and yours.

Dog Toys
The Kong Classic – Available in a variety of sizes and different chew strengths.  This versatile toy can be filled with treats, peanut butter, plain yoghurt and even thrown in the freezer for warmer days.  An excellent all round toy to keep dogs entertained. Available to order from Heathfield Vets.
Christmas Dinner Rope Toy – Don’t feel bad that you can’t share the Christmas roast with your pooch when they have their very own on a rope! Great toy for Christmas day! Available from House of Paws.
Embroidered Tennis Ball – Does your dog need a tennis ball that matches their outfit and personality? The answer if of course yes and thankfully there is a whole range to choose from! Available from Cocopup.
Stick Dog Toy – Throwing real sticks for your dog can lead to injuries, luckily you can grab one of these budget friendly stick toys to throw instead! Available from Pets at Home.
Outward Hide-A-Squirrel Dog Toy – A great toy for mental stimulation which comes in a variety of sizes. You can even buy spare squirrels! Available at Amazon.
KONG Gyro Treat Dispenser Toy – Treat dispensers keep your dog mentally enriched whilst also slowing down feeding time! The Gyro comes in two sizes and can fit a whole dinner’s worth of kibble. Available to order from Heathfield Vets.
Cat Toys
Crinkle Playful Mittens Cat Toy Duo – Cats will love the playful sound of these adorable catnip filled mittens. Available from Pets at Home.
Crab Eco Friendly Cat Wand – Playtime with your cat is a great way to bond and let them try out their natural hunting and pouncing skills. Remember to let your cat ‘catch’ any wand or teaser toy so they don’t get frustrated. Available from House of Paws.

KONG Holiday Crackles Christmas Tree Cat Toy – Seasonal and fun, your cat will love batting this about on Christmas morning! Available from the PDSA store.

Christmas Sleigh Scratcher – For cats that love to scratch, this will save your furniture and looks great as a Christmas decoration! Available from Homebase.

PawHut Cat Tunnel – Your cats will love running through this fluffy tunnel which can be made into a curved tunnel, S-shape or donut.  It will even fit around the base of your Christmas tree! Available from Amazon.

Battersea Blueberry Snuffle Pie – A cute toy to keep cats entertained as they fish out the blueberry balls.  You can add cat nip or treats to extend play.  Available to order from Heathfield Vets.
Collars, Leads and Tags
Cocopup Sparkle Season Gold Collection – We adore Cocopup for their fab range of collars, leads, harnesses and accessories.  The new sparkly gold collection is perfect for a Christmas eve soirée, New Years Eve yacht party or just hanging at the dog park looking fly. Available from Cocopup.
Festive Stocking Pet Tag – These handmade pet tags are beautiful and a perfect addition to a seasonal collar. Available from Tails & Bloom.
The Muzzle Movement – We hate the stigma around muzzles. No owner should be ashamed or embarrassed that their dog needs to wear one. Dogs need to wear muzzles for all sorts of reasons, from vet visits or reactivity to reducing dangerous scavenging on walks.  We really like the muzzles at The Muzzle Movement, not only are they safe and comfortable, they also come in a variety of customisable colours!  Your dog can be safely muzzled yet stylish with a co-ordinating lead and collar combo. For pups who are just that bit extra you can add on a muzzle charm too!
Ladder Combat Multiple Handle Lead – We really like these leads, they’re strong enough for large or very bouncy dogs and the ladder handle gives you more control. Plus they come in a nice variety of colours! Available from BullyBillows.
Masbrill Luminous Dog Collar – Keep your dog shining bright on dark evening walks with this great light up collar.  Available in multiple sizes and colours, the light effect is excellent and they are easy to recharge. Available from Amazon.

Christmas isn’t just about presents, most pets will be happy with a snuggle and a long walk on Christmas day (and maybe a scrap of plain turkey if it’s going). We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
