Charity / Rescue Organisation Registration

It is important we have contact details for any foster carer who will be responsible for patient's care.

Please note, Heathfield Vets is a pay at the time practice and does not run accounts, we politely request all consultations and/or treatment be paid for at the time of examination; this can be paid by the designated foster carer in practice or by the registered charity by telephone following the appointment. Any medication will need to be paid for before collection. The designated foster carer can pay at the practice on collection or alternatively, we can email an invoice and a online payment link to the charity organisation or designated accounts department once medication is ready. We please ask that payment be completed before any medication is collected by the local foster carer.

If any treatment costs will need to be approved by the charity organisation please make both Heathfield Vets and any foster carers aware of who will need to be contacted and any limits on costs that will need to be discussed. It is also important to discuss with your foster carer how decisions should be made should emergency out of hours care be required by our partner emergency service, Vets Now.
